Brightspace LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage Registration.

Open the LTI Advantage admin tool

1. Admin Tools → Manage Extensibility → LTI Advantage → New Registration.

Enter the UniRubric tool registration

1. Name: UniRubric.
2. Redirect URLs: https://app.unirubric.com/lti/launch.
3. OpenID Connect login URL: https://app.unirubric.com/lti/login.
4. JWKS URL: https://app.unirubric.com/lti/jwks.
5. Signing algorithm: ES256.

Register and copy the issuer values

1. Register. Brightspace returns Client ID, Deployment ID, and Brightspace OAuth 2.0 URL.
2. These are auto-discovered by UniRubric at first launch — you don't need to copy them back into UniRubric manually.

Enable Assignment and Grade Services

1. Edit the registration → Permissions → tick Send grades, Manage line items, View names/roles.

Add to a Brightspace course

1. Course → Content → + Add Existing Activity → External Learning Tools → UniRubric.

Verify

1. Run the LTI handshake check at /developers/quickstart.
