One submission, graded against
your rubric.
Each student submission you grade is one run, no matter how long the essay or how detailed your rubric. Reviewing, editing scores, regenerating feedback for the same submission — all free. Re-running the same submission from scratch (e.g. after the student resubmits) is a new run.
Failed runs are refunded automatically. If our pipeline errors, your quota is not charged.
- What happens after my free marking job?
- Nothing automatic — we never charge without your sign-off. The next time you ask UniRubric to mark a job, you'll be prompted to buy a top-up pack of runs ($1 per run, sold in small packs) or upgrade to Premium. Until then, your work, rubrics, and approved grades stay accessible.
- Do unused runs roll over?
- The free tier is one lifetime marking job — there is no monthly reset. Premium runs roll forward for six months from the month they were issued, so a slow month doesn't waste your quota.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time. Monthly Premium ends at the close of the current billing period. Annual Premium can be cancelled at renewal.
- What about my whole department?
- Once you have multiple teaching staff, the per-run B2B plan or per-student capped plan is more economical and adds LMS integration (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Brightspace) and a Faculty Lead dashboard. Talk to procurement →
